All grades of Siberian Larch are similar in color to Reclaimed Antique Longleaf Heart Pine…the top product to ever grace American floors. However, Larch in Perfection Quartersawn grade looks so much like Reclaimed Antique Longleaf Heart Pine, that not even an expert can tell the difference. And, it is exactly this grade that establishes Siberian Larch as the absolute top product in flooring worldwide. CVG (Clear Vertical Grain) is the top product class in every specie of wood. Tight ring growth makes CVG the most even wearing of all, and its even color distribution makes it more beautiful. Larch is similar to Longleaf Pine in almost every way. But, Larch has one thing that Reclaimed Antique Longleaf Heart Pine does not have and will never have! That is availability! Old Growth Siberian Larch is available in wide widths, long lengths and your choice of thicknesses. But, CVG in Reclaimed Antique Longleaf Heart Pine is neither affordable nor available. RECLAIMED ANTIQUE BARNWOOD
Reclaimed Antique Barnwood is usually sold in truckload lots of many mixed species…usually about 9 different woods. We buy large quantities of Barnwood and reclaimed it, carefully separating each plank into the correct specie and quality. We have established the 9 specific categories of Reclaimed Barnwood Species listed below. Occasionally, there might be an odd board here or there in another specie, but these 9 are the main categories. We also separate Barnwood by color sometimes into Browns, Reds, and Grays.
